The essence of the Purposeek career coaching training method is to give you the tools to find your purpose. And make the right life and career change to live your purpose. What change? Any necessary change! It can be a career change, mindset, environment or even life changes! Your life, your rules!
As Oprah says, if you don’t have a purpose, your immediate goal in life is to find your purpose!
The Purposeek life and career coaching program for a successful career transition is built on 2 pillars – Introspection & Collaboration.
Both pillars are essential and complement each other. Introspection means understanding who you really are. Collaboration means interacting, connecting with people and seeking people’s help and feedback. Most of us are social human beings that need to interact and connect. That’s why we have created the “Buddy” concept for our Program. Most of the Purposeek exercises are completed hand in hand with your Buddy or in groups.
The Foundation
So what foundation do these 2 pillars lay on? The foundation of our life and career change program is simply you! The power of you. The ultimate objective of a career coaching is to empower you to make choices to fully live your purpose. We will provide the career change method and the career coaching tools, but you will do the work. You will be able to revisit this method and tools anytime in your future life. When you feel like you need a booster or your purpose is evolving and you need to reflect. It is all within you and within your hand. You can achieve whatever to set your mind for. We believe in you!
You will first need to know who you are and empower yourself to become who you want to be! And that’s why the Purposeek life and career coaching program starts with the Introspection module.

Many of us think that we know who we are or are too afraid to dig in. Afraid of not knowing what we are going to find. And it’s ok! It is not an easy process but with the right support, it makes your career coaching journey less daunting.
The reality is that most of us don’t really know who we are. As soon as we start digging, we start uncovering new or not so new things, just buried things. It is important to get the full picture of yourself. So naturally, discovery becomes the next step in our career coaching program after introspection.
Discovery
The Purposeek Discovery module will help you uncover the unknown. What do you really believe in, what drives you forward? Or more simply, what makes you happy?
Key Dimensions
The first step to discover more about yourself is to build your mind map following 4 key dimensions. Values, Strengths, Desires and Drivers. The second step is to identify your intrinsic motivation. What makes you in a state of flow. This is a state where you are in your element and where time and environment doesn’t matter anymore. The third step is to acknowledge what you need to feel good and live up to your potential.
Introspection & Discovery
Seeking the answers from your introspection and discovery work will potentially lead you to your purpose. But be aware that finding your purpose is a journey. And sometimes a complex and long journey. Depending on where you are at and how far you are living from your purpose. But it is so worth it! It’s the beginning of living your true self. Finding your purpose is the ultimate goal but not the end of the road! Indeed, the Purposeek method is also designed to help you translate your purpose into your life. This is where the heart of the Purposeek method resides and it is covered in the Translation module.
The Pulse
In the third Purposeek career coaching module we introduce a tool named “Pulse” as an analogy to the heart. It has 4 dimensions Environment, Talent, Meaning and Needs. Pulse reflects the dimensions of intrinsic motivation and needs. It contains markers such as “Strengths”, “Values”, “Drivers” that reflect your mind map.
How it works
The objective of the “Pulse” tool is to help you navigate through your Purposeek life and career change journey. It works like a torch that will light up your road to get more clarity of your purpose. It also works like a heart monitor during the career coaching program to help you answer the questions. Am I in the right direction? Does it feel right? If the answer is yes, keep going but if the answer is no, go back and reassess your situation. Intriguing this “Pulse” tool, isn’t it? We can’t wait to share it with you during our workshops.
Your Why
Let’s take a step back to address the very important message: The concept of the “WHY”. Start with the “WHY” As Simon Sinek says! Understanding your “WHY” will help you understand the root causes of your purpose. Why is it that you have this purpose at this moment of your life? As you may know, the purpose is not a concept that is set in stone. It keeps moving, evolving and changing as you keep growing, but it is in you. When you know your “WHY”, then your “WHAT” and your “HOW” become so easy. Your “WHY” is your ultimate drive.
Ideation
One of the key concepts of the Purposeek is Ideation. What is it that I want to do or can do with my life? What ideas and opportunities can emerge from the introspection and discovery work? This is where we encourage you to put all your ideas in a bucket using the “Pulse” tool. One of the key functions of the “Pulse” tool is to score and filter your ideas. You can then select the top 3 that are aligned with your values, needs and aspirations.
The Design Thinking Approach
You have now the top 3 ideas you would like to explore. How do you do that? Only one answer: The Design Thinking approach. This approach will teach you that it is important to connect the dots, visualise, prototype and commit to your plan. Connect the dots means: Is this idea really for me? Visualise means: Do I see myself fulfilled while and after implementing this idea? Prototype means: If I try it, does it feel right? Am I enjoying the process? And Commit means: Am I ready to commit to it? If the answer is yes all the way, then it’s time to take action.
Summary
Let’s pause here for a second. I hear you! Taking actions can be a bit daunting. Let’s not be afraid of our words, it can be scary, even very scary! So why? What’s holding you back? The last module of the Purposeek Career Coaching Program called Emancipate and Action. This module will provide tools to help you manage your fears and overcome your self-limiting beliefs. We will learn that inaction is not the solution when it comes to managing our fears. We have more to lose if we don’t act on it. It is no longer about fear or pain but about joy and action.
Conclusion
It is about enjoying the journey but nevertheless, you will need a life and career coaching plan, an action plan. Turn your idea into a project and start executing your project. As they say, plan the work and work the plan! We will show you how to build an action plan and how to be accountable for your progress. You are now ready to embark on your purposeek journey!
